Caron Proschan started Simply in 2014 after discovering that most gums use synthetic plastic bases. Determined to create a cleaner option, she crafted her first gum with natural chicle tree sap in her apartment. Those first small batches soon found their way onto store shelves across NYC. Today, Simply—a proudly female and AANHPI-founded brand—has expanded and now offers delicious confections made from simple, natural ingredients in beautifully designed packaging.
