Functional mushroom tinctures made with love.
Bristol Fungarium is the UK’s only organic-certified functional mushroom producer, cultivating a diverse range of mushrooms including lion’s mane, reishi, chaga and cordyceps on their Soil Association-certified farm in Somerset. Grown in carefully controlled environments, each mushroom is harvested and extracted on-site to ensure quality, purity and consistency.
Founded by Tom Baxter and Henry Jephson, the brand combines traditional knowledge with modern cultivation techniques to create thoughtfully crafted mushroom tinctures. Using a triple-extraction process with distilled water and organic ethanol, each formula is designed to deliver a potent, full-spectrum extract.
Designed to support everyday wellbeing, these tinctures can be used as part of a simple daily ritual. From supporting focus and mental clarity to helping maintain energy levels, calm and immune function, they offer a natural way to restore balance and resilience over time.
Rich in naturally occurring compounds, including vitamin D and protein, functional mushrooms are increasingly recognised for their role in supporting overall health. With sustainability, innovation and wellbeing at its core, Bristol Fungarium offers a more considered approach to supplementation. Yes, you can take more than one Bristol Fungarium mushroom tincture at the same time. Mixing tinctures can enhance their benefits. Start with one or two tinctures to see how your body responds, then gradually add more if needed. The maximum amount for each tincture is 2ml daily, except for Chaga, which is 1ml. If taking several, try to keep the total around 6ml per day.
Each Bristol Fungarium tincture uses about 128 grams of fresh mushrooms, which turns into around 12.8 grams of dried mushrooms per 50ml bottle. A 50ml bottle has 50 servings of 1 millilitre each, so if you take 1 to 2 millilitres a day, the bottle will last between 25 to 50 days.
There isn't much research on the safety of using Bristol Fungarium tinctures during pregnancy. While some traditional uses are known, it's best to avoid all supplements, including mushrooms, in the first trimester. Always talk to your GP or midwife before using any supplements during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
