We asked 5 questions to help gain a better understanding of how health plays a role in Amelia's lifestyle.
1) Eat, move, mind or sleep - which is most important to you?
A: SLEEP!
2) What’s your favourite wellness ritual?
A: Journaling when my mind needs it or when I’m proud of something I’ve done (big or small).
3) Q: Talk us through your day before 9am.
A: I wake up around 7:30am. Make my bed straight away. I then shower, clean my face and I gua sha for about 5 minutes. I then head to the kitchen, have a big glass of water and make some breakfast. I like to have breakfast within 30 mins of waking up and before my coffee or matcha. Breakfast is usually my homemade sourdough with avocado, pomegranate and truffle honey. Or a bowl of oats with all the toppings never fails to hit the spot.
4) In what place do you feel healthiest?
A: My happy place. So that can either be the gym, editing another YouTube video of mine, or with friends and family.
5) How did your health journey begin?
A: I thought it began way back when I started counting calories and ‘being mindful’ of what I was eating. But I’m actual fact it started when I stopped worrying about being my skinniest, and what or how much I was eating. So it started when my weight gain journey started which was in late September 2020.
