OMGTea’s cultivation involves shading plants with bamboo for three to four weeks before harvest, reducing sunlight by 90%. This technique boosts chlorophyll production, enriching the leaves with amino acids and turning them a vibrant emerald green. Only the youngest, tender leaves from the top of the plant are picked, steamed, and freeze-dried. The highest quality leaves are then ground into super fine matcha powder using traditional granite stone mills in a meticulously controlled environment, taking over an hour to grind just 30 grams.

Place 1/2 heaped teaspoon of matcha into a tea strainer over a mug or bowl to remove any lumps. Add a few drops of 80℃ water and mix to create a paste. Fill with more 80℃ water and whisk until frothy and smooth.
