The Bamboo Whisk brings precision and tradition to the matcha-making ritual. Made from light, durable bamboo, it effectively blends matcha into a smooth, creamy froth, ideal for both usucha (thin matcha) and koicha (thick matcha). Its fine, curved prongs help achieve the perfect consistency and texture, enhancing the full flavour and aroma of the tea.
Each whisk comes packaged in a Rocky’s Matcha cardboard tube for easy storage and protection. For best care, bloom the whisk before each use and allow it to air dry—ideally on a whisk stand—to maintain its shape and longevity.

Before each use, soak the bamboo whisk in warm water for a few minutes to soften the bristles. Add matcha powder to your bowl, pour in hot water (about 80°C), and whisk in a gentle “M” or “W” motion until a frothy layer forms. After use, rinse the whisk with warm water only and let it air dry on a whisk stand to maintain its shape.
