Unlike many other matcha varieties, Okumidori First Harvest Matcha comes from a single origin in Kagoshima, Japan, ensuring consistent quality and flavour. This late-maturing cultivar, known as Okumidori or deep green," produces a strikingly vibrant green powder with a smooth, balanced taste. Matcha is traditionally enjoyed with only water. Add 1/2 tsp matcha to 1-2oz warm but not boiling water (140-175°F). Whisk for 15-30 seconds in a W (zig-zag) motion. Add another 4-6oz warm water after whisking and enjoy!
