Not exactly, but that’s the point. Dr. Barbara Sturm blends naturally occurring ingredients with advanced science to create formulas that are simple to use, highly effective and non-toxic. Every product is designed to be gentle, non-irritating and always cruelty-free.
Every Dr. Sturm formula is made without parabens, with the exception of her SPF sun drops. A small amount is included there to keep the formula stable, effective and protected from contamination. The preservative used is highly regulated, approved by both the European Commission and the FDA, and has been repeatedly tested for safety.
Dr. Barbara Sturm formulas are almost entirely vegan, though a few do include cruelty-free beeswax and xanthan gum that can come from both plant and animal sources. The brand never tests on animals. In fact, it avoids selling in regions where animal testing is required, such as China.
