stopped working
I am not sure if it was doing much apart from being an expensive heating pad for working from home but I liked it anyway and used every day for a few months, then it started playing up. The display would flash "E" and the heating wouldn't work - it is impossible to day if anything else was working. As it was busy and hot summer by then, I just put the mat away away and forgotten. So, when I contacted the company months later and it was past already the warranty period. The customer service were nice and still replaced the controller/ display but it didn't resolve an issue. So, it ended up being a very expensive short experience with the mat. When it was working, I found the heating function inconsistent with some patches really hot, too hot ,even on a very low setting, while other parts remained cool. If it had any other effect I can't say - I didn't notice any changes in my Oura app stats but I would happily continue using it, if it didn't stop working, even if for placebo effect, hoping it is doing something other than heating by backside. Unfortunately I can't recommend it based on my experience.

Worth a go if you can stretch to it :)
I really like using this product. Obviously I can only speak anecdotally, I had been considering buying it for a while. I had major abdominal surgery earlier this year and read an article about the use of PEMF mats in recovery from caesarean section and that is what decided me. Whilst I did not have a caesarean, the article mentioned potential usefulness in pain management. I have had a very smooth recovery. Can I attribute some of that to the mat? Well that’s impossible to answer, but look at this research if you are in a similar situation. (Easily located with google) Also I keep using it, if only because it helps with occasional joint pains I wake up with some days.

Effective but. . .
I found this mat great at treating migraines and stabilising energy levels (I have M. E. and long covid). However, I wish you could turn off the infrared function and be able to use it just as a PEMF mat. I asked customer services whether you can do this and they didn't respond, certainly the instructions indicate that you can't. My problem is that I need 20 mins a day on the most calming frequency to get the benefit of the PEMF but 20mins of the coldest infrared session is too much for me in terms of detoxing, I need to detox much more gently because I'm not well.
