I have a ACL injury from 20 years ago and now knee arthritis. This device is amazing - it’s just as cold as using ice, but massively more convenient. Love the way it also offers compression, as well as heat to warm up before exercise. Well worth the money.

I’m giving this 5* for several reasons. But has it cured my patella tendinitis (which is what I believe it to be)? Not yet - after about 3 weeks. However, both knees feel significantly improved and I attribute that improvement to this device which I usually use in contrast setting. The device is pretty sophisticated, pairs well with the app which is easy to use to set up (though being able to store favourites would help). The packaging is vintage Apple-style! I wish charging could be done via USB-C with its higher capacity now rather than a dedicated power brick. The experience is pleasant whether cooling or heating. I am late middle age and I’ve only felt my knees become painful after embarking on weights exercises such as squats and lunges, though I’ve also been pushing harder while cycling which is also where I’ve felt the discomfort. I have not backed off from these activities - in fact I’ve gone heavier on the weights. I’d say my knees are 50% improved and if that progress continues I’ll be happy. I’m considering getting the shoulder version for a similar issue (at least that’s what I believe it to be). So, don’t expect immediate or total remission, but it has definitely helped me so far.
