I wanted a liposomal Magnesium L-threonate to replace the now discontinued one that I had from Cymbiotika. This was recommended by Healf. It is very helpful and I feel my sleep is better with using it, however, there is 12% alcohol in the formula which I hadn't appreciated and which I wish was not there. I won't repurchase because of that, but they are too expensive for me to not finish the packet that I purchased.
Very disappointed with this product, especially at this price point. I bought it because I wanted a premium, high-quality magnesium supplement and expected noticeably better results, but honestly I feel absolutely nothing from it. Other magnesium supplements I’ve taken in the past made me feel calmer and more relaxed quite quickly — this one has had zero noticeable effect. I also really dislike the format. The gel consistency is unpleasant and awkward to take, and I was surprised to see it contains alcohol as well. For nearly £90, I expected exceptional quality and effectiveness. Instead, it feels massively overpriced and overhyped.
I felt the effects of this magnesium straight away. I’m more focused and have less brain frog when I take it. The only downside side is that it has a very intense glue like taste and texture (not that I’ve tasted glue, ha!)
I struggle to take magnesium tablets at night so was looking for an alternative. I tried the liposomal magnesium L-Threonate as it was magnesium in gel form and I am really pleased with the results I am getting from it. I have been waking at 3am most nights and since I have been taking this, I have been sleeping through the night and wake up feeling well rested.
