The cuff should be placed on the left arm, on bare skin. The measurement is done in two stages: first the blood pressure measurement,and second the ECG and stethoscope measurement, for which users need to place their hand on the metal electrode. The digital stethoscope should be located against the users’ chest during the measurement as it listens to the heart.

BPM Core
This is a very comprehensive health monitor for home use. Its easy to set up and take readings. I like that it combines three key measurements - pressure, ECG and stethoscope - into one device. The Health Mate app is well designed and makes it easy to track trends over time. My only minor complaint is that the cuff can be a bit fiddly to get on by yourself sometimes, but you get the hang of it. It's not cheap, but I believe it offers good value for its capabilities.

tbh i wasn't sure if i needed something this fancy but i saw a review online and thought why not. it's actually sick. the setup was stupidly easy just connect to wifi and your phone and you're off. taking a reading is quick and i love that everything syncs without me having to do anything. . . i just open the app and it's there. feels a lot more accurate than the cheap one i had form the pharmacy and the ecg bit is kinda wild. like i can check my own heart rhythm? crazy. would highly reccomend if your looking for a serious bit of kit
