The Nova is a great
The Nova is a great value watch that treads a fine line between smart features and style well. For the price point, the watch exudes quality, feeling weighty and well finished. The battery life is phenomenal (I charge it about once a month) and the display is clear, gives me all the main notifications and functionality I need and - particularly with the black watchface option - is very discreet. There are a few downsides, too. The app is quite flaky on an iPhone, meaning that you'll sometimes stop receiving message notifications only to find that it needs an update. Again. It's also not that intuitive, feels very yesteryear and lacks sophistication in its options for scheduling and controlling notifications. The proprietary charger also feels pretty flimsy, is expensive to replace despite being inexpensive to manufacture and means if you do ru out of juice and don't have it with you, you're very unlikely to be able to do anything about it. It also has no option to see how charged the watch is while it's charging, so you have to physically remove it from the charger to check. Overall, I'd highly recommend the Nova. It's strengths are in the most important areas (the hardware quality and styling), while its weaker suits are largely tolerable quirks and some of them could be addressed through future app updates.
