I previously had the Higher Does mid size mat, but I prefer this one. I feel the build quality is better and you can use the temperature independently to the frequency setting, whereas Higher Does you have to have the temperature on the same level as the frequency (ie the higher you go the hotter it gets). I like that you can choose the exact frequency you want, the exact temperature and whether to turn the red/infra red lights on or off, so I feel its fully customizable to the session type or body part you are treating. It has a fold line where you can bend it so you can use it flat or in a chair. The control box is simple and easy to use. I bought this for a back injury, I am unsure if it has helped to be honest as that will take a long time to heal, but it has had an amazing effect on my chronic posture issues. I tried everything but had continuing issues with my knees and hips, but this mat has completely reset them. My walking and posture are so much better and its helped more than physio. I would highly recommend this to everyone, I only wish I had bought it sooner. The only negative is it is fairly heavy, so I would recommend this over the full size as that must be very hard to move.
