Looking for a refreshing cocktail that hydrates while satisfying your spicy cravings? This Spicy Mango Chili Margarita does just that. Infused with LMNT Mango Chili electrolytes, water, and optional tequila, it's the perfect drink for when you want to indulge without compromising hydration.

Designed by our very own Brand Manager Oscar and enjoyed on our recent Healf company retreat - it's tried, tested and trusted.

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet LMNT Mango Chili electrolyte mix
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • 1-2 oz tequila (optional, for the cocktail version)
  • Ice cubes
  • Tajín or chili powder (for rimming the glass)
  • Lime wedges (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Rim:
On a small plate, spread Tajín or chili powder. Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of your glass to moisten the edge, then dip the rim into the spice mix for a tangy, spicy kick.

  2. Mix the Base:
In a shaker or large glass, combine the packet of LMNT Mango Chili with 1 cup of filtered cold water. Stir or shake until the electrolytes dissolve completely.

  3. Make it a Cocktail (Optional):
If you're in the mood for a boozy twist, add 1-2 oz of tequila to the shaker and stir well.

  4. Shake and Serve:
Fill your glass with ice cubes, then pour the mixture over the ice. If you've added tequila, shake the mixture with ice before serving for an extra chilled margarita.

  5. Garnish and Enjoy:
Add a lime wedge to the rim for that extra zing, and sip your hydrating, spicy margarita!

Why is this cocktail different?

What makes this margarita stand out is its unique combination of hydration and flavour. LMNT's Mango Chilli electrolytes provide essential sodium, potassium, and magnesium, making it ideal for replenishing whilst also providing a great flavour. The chilli adds a fiery kick while also helping to boost metabolism, and by using water instead of sugary mixers like fizzy drinks or juice, you get a refreshing, low-sugar cocktail that hydrates as you enjoy it. It’s the perfect balance of wellbeing and indulgence.
