Its main function is to rid the body of toxins, harmful substances and by-products. It processes nutrients from the food we eat-converting it into essential blood components storing the vitamins and minerals. The liver is central to our overall health and making sure it is performing optimally is key to our well-being. A liver detox is a process aimed at flushing out built up toxins in the liver. It is based on the belief that toxins can accumulate in the liver over time, impairing its function and overall health. It claims to improve liver function, enhance digestion, promote overall health and boost energy.
