Orthomol Natal Powder is a carefully formulated micronutrient supplement designed to support the increased nutritional demands of pregnancy and breastfeeding. Each daily serving provides folic acid, which contributes to normal maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. The formulation also includes DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to the normal development of the brain and eyes of the foetus and breastfed infant when consumed at an intake of 300 mg DHA per day. Iron supports the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, while iodine and selenium contribute to normal thyroid function.

Orthomol Natal Powder also supplies calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamin D, vitamin B12, and folic acid, all of which have a role in the process of cell division.
