Ancestral Cosmetics’ mission is to bring back the ancient wisdom of natural beauty, using ingredients that have been recognised in traditional practices for over 5,000 years. The brand emerged from founders Renata and Mihael’s realisation that many food and skincare products may contain ingredients some people choose to avoid, with many "natural" cosmetics featuring preservatives, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances and fillers. That’s why they decided to do things differently.

Ancestral Cosmetics developed products with ingredients that are so natural, they could be eaten; containing no fillers or unnecessary extras. Their core ingredient, beef tallow, is a traditional natural fat valued for its rich, moisturising texture. The brand also incorporates cold-pressed olive oil, local raw honey and pure essential oils.
