Yes, but with limits. The Mudita Kompakt has no app store, though Android APKs can be installed manually using Mudita Center, a computer and a USB-C cable.
Because third party apps aren’t designed for its E Ink display or MuditaOS K, some may feel clunky, show errors or fail without Google Services. Sideloading is available from MuditaOS version 1.2.0 and any issues it causes aren’t covered by the warranty.
