Suggested use
1. Use a Maurten 500ml water bottle or Maurten Drinkflask 550 ml.
2. Fill the bottle with clean water (less than 80mg calcium per liter of water) to the neck. Maurten 500ml bottles have this fill-line marked.
3. Maurten Drinkflask 550 ml has an additional 50ml of capacity for mixing the powder.
4. Pour the sachet of Drink Mix into the bottle, on top of the water.
5. Shake vigorously until the Drink Mix is fully dissolved in the water, with no lumps or residual mix at the bottom of the bottle.

My Cofee Follow Up
I enjoy this caffeine version of the Maurten drinks because it helps to sustain my coffee buzz well into my long run. I'll notice if I don't have caffeine after my first cup in the morning I'll tend to crash mid way through my run but this drink mix or the caffeine gels prevent that and also provide a good boost of energy.

Chose Maurten for a recent ultra marathon, seemed to work better than anything else I've tried. Next time I think I'll alternate between caffeine & non-affiliated for longer distance.

Good for marathons!
I pack a 500mL softflask of this for the start of a marathon, drinking ~30% before the start and getting me through the first ~45 mins before switching to gels (CAF100/GEL100 alternating) for the rest, taking one every 30 mins.
