Milk thistle is an ancient and natural herbal remedy derived from the milk thistle plant. Extracts from this plant contains a flavonoid called silymarin which is known to effectively aid the detoxification of the liver and contains high levels of antioxidants, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.

Traditionally milk thistle was used to treat gallbladder and liver disorders, promote breast milk production, and to protect the liver against snake bites, alcohol, and other toxic chemicals. Today it's still used as an adaptogenic herb and frequently found in supplements focusing on natural detoxification and de-bloating. 

Although milk thistle isn't commonly spoken about when referring to medicine, it is the most well researched plant for treatment of liver disease. This adaptogenic herb has also been suggested to decrease blood sugar levels, where studies have found similarities between milk thistle supplements and GLP-1 medications without the associated negative side effects.

International deliveries can take 7 working days, and up to 4 weeks. The cost is £22.99 for orders below £50, £49.95 for orders above.

Returns

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, we provide free 365-day UK returns for all our customers. To initiate your return, simply contact us at team@healf.com, and we'll send you a return slip and help arrange a collection. The item you return must be sent in the same condition as received and inside the original packaging. Once received, we will notify you via email.

For international returns, we unfortunately do not cover the cost. However, we work with an array of carriers and can offer self-posting returns for customers shopping from outside the UK.
