GORUCK
Military-grade durability meets everyday versatility.
Founded in 2008 by Special Forces operative Jason McCarthy and CIA officer Emily McCarthy, GORUCK was born out of a quest to create a rugged rucksack capable of thriving in extreme conditions. Without a formal business plan, the McCarthys invested their savings into building GORUCK from scratch, driven by a passion for quality and a strong sense of community.
Designed for versatility, GORUCK backpacks excel in various environments, whether you're navigating city streets, tackling weekend rucks or embarking on travel adventures. Each backpack embodies the concept of “rucking”, a form of exercise involving walking with a weighted pack, which deeply influences their design.
Made to meet military standards, GORUCK backpacks utilise high grade materials such as 100D Cordura, 210D High Tenacity and Dyneema. They feature MOLLE straps for customisable storage and are suited for both urban and tactical use. Some models include padded compartments for laptops and MOLLE technology for efficient interior organisation.
Although inspired by military design, these backpacks are tailored to be practical and understated for everyday wear. As a UK stockist of GORUCK backpacks, browse the carefully curated collection at Healf.
