Assemble the FlexStride Plus on a flat, sturdy floor, attaching the rear stabiliser and pedals with the included hex key and wrench, then insert 2 AAA batteries into the control panel.

Place it on a sturdy, level, non-slip surface with at least 30.48cm of clearance on all sides, sit in a chair (using the wheel stoppers or tether strap if it's a wheeled chair) and pedal with feet flat on the pedals, pressing down as each pedal reaches its highest point.

Turn the tension knob to set resistance across 8 levels (1 lowest to 8 highest), and use the Mode button on the display to track strides, time, RPM, distance and calories.

Warm up for at least 5 minutes before exercising and cool down afterward.
