The Mooncup is a reusable menstrual cup made from silicone, designed as a simple alternative to disposable period products. It collects rather than absorbs your flow, holds up to three times more than a regular tampon and can be used on both lighter and heavier days.
It comes down to age and whether you’ve given birth vaginally. Choose Size B if you’re under 30 and haven’t given birth vaginally. Choose Size A if you’re 30 or over, or if you’ve given birth vaginally at any age.
Wash your hands, fold the Mooncup and insert it, sitting it as low as feels comfortable. Empty it every 4 to 8 hours, rinse, then reinsert. Simple once you know how,and, because it holds more than a regular tampon or pad, you may find you need to empty it less often.
