1. Use your tin to store your month's supply of tape.
2. Before bed, make sure the skin around your mouth is clean and dry. Tuck your lips inside your mouth slightly.
3. Peel off tape backing and apply tape to cover mouth.

Disclaimer: While Hostage Tape is generally safe, do not use Hostage Tape if you have trouble breathing through your nose. Do not use by itself without a CPAP if you are obese (BMI over 35).
